We chose the name Signpost Sessions carefully.

In a world that feels increasingly fragmented, it is tempting to look for heroes. We look for the “expert” with the 10-step plan, the guru with the perfect answers, or the leader who promises to fix the broken systems.

But when you are truly lost in the woods, you don’t need a hero. You need a sign.

The Signpost Philosophy : A signpost is humble. It doesn’t scream. It doesn’t tell you what to think. It simply stands its ground and points: “This way.” or “Notice this.”

This series is rooted in the belief that we need to serve as signposts for one another**.**

We define a “Signpost” not as someone who has it all figured out, but as a person, a practice, or a story that helps us find direction when the path is unclear.

It’s Not About Heroism : Being a Signpost Isn’t About Perfection. It is about presence.

  • It is the teacher who admits they are tired but shares a moment of joy that keeps them going.
  • It is the organizer who shares a resource that helped their community survive a crisis.
  • It is the quiet acknowledgement of what is breaking, so we don’t feel crazy for noticing it.

From Individual Mindset to Collective Practice. Hope is often sold to us as an individual trait. Something you either have or you don’t. We believe hope is a collective practice. We are stronger when we connect across our different struggles.

In this series, we are gathering to do three things together:

  1. See: Name the reality of where we are.
  2. Sense: Find the practices and lineages that sustain us.
  3. Show: Become the markers that guide others forward.

We invite you to join us. Not to be fixed, but to be found.
